Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked across luxury hospitality, wellness, and retreat environments throughout Europe, South East Asia, the Middle East, and the United States — from leading spa and wellness operations within Four Seasons and Six Senses resorts in New York and Mykonos, to advising wellness and retreat spaces in Abu Dhabi and Koh Samui, to personally designing and facilitating more than 40 retreats internationally.

My background is rooted in Forbes-standard hospitality, wellness operations, and guest experience — bringing a refined understanding of the details that shape how guests experience, move through, and remember a space.

What makes my perspective unique is that I understand both sides of the experience: the expectations retreat leaders look for when choosing a venue for their groups, and the operational realities boutique resorts navigate when positioning themselves within the retreat market.

Over the years, I began noticing that many beautiful properties were still struggling to fully connect with retreat leaders. Not because the spaces lacked quality, but because retreat hospitality requires a very different level of guest flow, operational ease, wellness integration, and experiential coherence than traditional leisure hospitality.

Often, small details within retreat positioning, communication, and overall guest experience were affecting retreat leader trust and booking confidence. This work was born from helping boutique resorts better understand what retreat leaders truly look for when choosing a space for their groups.
